it's been so long....
haven blogged for 2 months liao...
hehe... being lazy & busy lately...
so much has happened these 2 months...
some happy.. some unhappy...
but this is just part & parcel of life ya...

recently the busyness at work is not a joke... i wonder why everyday like so busy??? =(

oh ya, went to police station to make statement last wed, spent a freaking 3 hrs inside...
nearly fainted at there... lol
coz i was waiting to meet 1 of the officer, but she was engaged with the suspect at the moment, and i was made to wait outside the room, no aircon outside & the haze wasn't a joke, i felt so stuffy & uncomfortable during the 1 hr wait outside, feeling giddy & lucky i got called in before i really fainted... lol
well, the reason that i went to police st is bcoz we have someone bringing in fake headphones for exchange, got busted, and then the poor boy that kena bought the fake headphones online went to make a report, boss followed with the report & me being the one issuing the order got called in to make a statement.... the story of this case is long & complicated la... lazy to type... hehehe...
anyway it is still under investigation...

in desire for a break... sooooo tiring =(

went for a short R&R trip to BKK end of aug...

using the new rail link for the 1st time, easy & cheap (having promo during that time, now i duno hw much) =)

went for a full day tour... floating market, ride elephant, watch elephant & crocodile performance & rose garden (heritage tour)

went to this temple for the 1st time, went to pray & make coffin donation

the temple provides coffins to victims killed in accidents or murdered in the event that no one comes forward to make a claim or identify the body.

last week walk a jog was a complete failure... haha
coz i only walk not jog.. hehehe... stomach was bloated and "big aunt" came to visit, thus my back aching =(

last sat was my review for asthma, waited nearly 1hr to see the nurse, damn fedup till i went to knock the door & check what's going on??? thn a nurse was inside attending to a patient, thn she saw me & apologise, so she knew someone was waiting very long outside lor... thn she explain she had few emergency cases, give her another 5 more mins & then ask me wait inside the room, i said it's okay, close the door & went to the ladies...
felt soooooo sleepy while waiting to see the nurse man... when i returned from ladies, i saw my number appear so i went in, this nurse damn loh soh... but still quite good, so after some check & qns she sent me to the doc, the 2 doc i like not in, so i just ask her send me to the room where nt much patient... so tired of waiting
luckily the doc din let me wait long, after i put my file in his room, he called my number in less than 3 min...
thn loh soh again etc...
initially wanted to go chinatown to get my $$ change, waited till so tired i gave up the idea, went home instead
bought lunch & watch some shw, around 2+pm i doze off... slept a straight 4 hrs of nap....
if not for the noise at the corridor, i might sleep even longer lor, i still woke up & scolded a boy for bouncing the stupid ball at the corridor...
damn it...
totally hate people playing or talking loudly at the corridor when i sleep or wtch tv

okay this week walk a jog is gona cancel
coz ceci is on leave tmr & i die die dun wana change to other day... hahaha
so i get a day off tmr... hohohoho...

fri claire took us out for lunch at this cute little cafe at katong call 'with a pinch of salt' for ceci's birthday treat... (see fb for all pics) some food is nice like caesar salad, escargots (tried for the 1st time in life) & choco lava, the main chicken cordon-blue, the chicken is abit too hard.. so nt very nice... =(

the choco lava is just heavenly yummy.... really... u have to try to know how nice it is... and it is priced at a reasonable $4.90

yummylicious =) wana go back have this again....

ard 3pm, we surprise ceci with a birthday cake...

the cake is really yummy too... haha..

met my 2 aunty for dinner on the same day.... tried the new penang cafe in amk jubilee...

we ordered char kway teow, hokkien prawn mee, another mee (forgt the name liao), stingray & fruit rojak, i feel only char kway teow & stingray nice nia....

too much food again recently... cant slim dwn leh =(

had a walk cum run session today with ceci
wanted to go gym but the gym is closed for youth olympic usage so went stadium instead
we began with a walk on the 1st round, thn started jogging slowly on the 2nd round, halfway through i felt abit breathless liao, then it was ceci that reminded me have i taken the inhaler??shits... totally forgotten abt it... so went back to locker to get my inhaler, i had no coins so ceci also need to open her locker, coz of me... she dig out total $1.60 for the locker (40 cents per locker)
thn went back walk the 3rd round, halfway through felt abit giddy... so 4th round also walk... lol
ended with 4th round... then off to walk ard & meet ceci's bud for dinner at subway...
think i strain abit of the muscle on my thigh liao T_T
hope my body won't ache so much tmr....

and then hua recalled me of the memories that we went to his autograph session in J8 before, it was 2003, during our ITE time, i think it was somewhere during the mooncake festival, coz i remembered we bought him mooncake to eat...
so that was the 1st & the last we saw of him...

my cd is still in good condition man... & luckily the signature never smudge

i still can't believe he is gone... just like this....
and until i saw the latest photo, the urn to keep his ashes, my tears stream down..

he is gone....really gone...

went to review my asthma this morning, nurse anna and dr.siska that attended to me was great =) felt comfortable talking to anna, talk to her like a friend, she is o friendly =) dr siska looks young, told her the sharp pain i encounter recently on my chest and my now very sensitive face, haven been experiencing dryness & itchiness for awhile liao, thn she gave me gel to use for my chest & a cleanser & steroid for my face...
oh ya... i manage to slim down near 2kg since my last visit 3 months ago... hehehe.. HAPPY...

eat, shop, movie day...
buffet @ intercontinental htl shld be the 1st & last time... totally sucks.. not worth the $$, food is cold, the few things i like might be the bread, the greens and 2 of the pastries...
after lunch went MS to shop...
went to this tw cafe @ citylink... spent less thn half an hr inside the cafe & left in a hurry to catch movie at the grand cathay at 6.15pm...

Uncle is 200% sure coming back to SG in jan 2010, finally after away from home for ard 20 yrs, he is back to SG for good, i still have some memories of the 1st time he left to work in australia whn i was in pri sch, i cried in airport... lol.. as always... crybaby T_T
couldn't rem he was in australia for hw long thn he shift his work to thailand for few yrs, thn move to shanghai, he stayed in shanghai the longest...

i missed the holidays we spent in shanghai when i was 18, the 4 of us, me, billy, micky & garrick went there for our sch holidays, i was just of legal age... haha... our 1st trip w/o our mums... so happy when we enter the custom... lol... when we lost the sight of our moms, we cheered for joy... lol... our 10 days trip in china was nice, relaxing & adventurous

uncle pick us up at the airport, he even rented a van coz of our luggages, our flight gt delayed and he quickly whisked us off to the van whn we reached the airport... he said the driver is in a hurry... haha... it was a fri when we reached
thn the next day, sat, we head off to suzhou i think, with 1 of his colleague... woke up damn early for our train... spent 1 night there...

thn the next day back to shanghai, uncle went to work on mon as usual, we only meet him after work for dinner, so it was relaxing when we dun need to wake up so early, took our own sweet time to head out, though i can't rem where we had been but the most memorable event whn we went to the zoo, after reaching for less thn 20mins, micky had a very bad stomachache, so no choice we have to head back to uncle's apartment, call my uncle, think he only head back after work, thn we rushed mic to hospital coz his diarrhoea is so bad.... he gt hospitalised... lol
think he stayed for 1 or 2 night, can't really rem...

thn we spent another weekend in hangzhou, also woke up early, bt this time take bus there... lol.. train tic sold out...
think this was the place where we spent the night at a less thn 3* hotel i think, i rem is at the back of a restaurant
6 of us, 3 rooms
uncle & his colleague stayed the 1st level, the 4 of us stayed on the 2nd level
thn i was supposed to be the same room with billy, thn duno hw end up, mic & weijie sleep on my room, billy slept alone in the other room... lol... anyway, just when we were about to doze off, police came knocking on our door... whn i was about to open the door, the door open itself, thy had keys with them, and one of them show me his badge and then demand to see our passport... think thy tot we illegal immigrant... LOL
thn we told them passport is with uncle below, so thy go downstairs, nt sure what happen downstairs though, we just shut the door and went back to sleep... haha... too tired liao, and the temp is so damn cold...

basically all of us were sick when we were in china, me, billy & weijie caught the cold... i was coughing like mad almost everyday there...

oh.. i remember another pool incident... haha... uncle's apartment nearby there's a place to play pool, thn we went on one night after dinner, uncle drop us there thn he went back home, thn we happily play until 4get the time, think we were suppose to go to hangzhou the next day, so uncle want us to get home early, thn he call us & and scolded us for being late... haha...
thn we din realise the building going to close liao, lift was not working... lol... we had no choice but to take the stairs, bt the stairs dun really have lights, we can only depend on the lights outside the windows... thn we hold each other hands and rush down the stairs, think it was 5th or 6th level high... we are just soooo funny...
thn the 4 of us ran home, the journey back is so fun, the temperature that night was just nice, cooling, thn we kind of race back home =)

those memories were so unforgettable man... haha

just whn i tot wana visit shanghai next yr again, uncle is coming back liao... haiz...

quite shock my cholesterol level is on the normal range... haha.. tot will be quite high... my good & bad cholesterol is normal... so funny is cholesterol still gt good & bad one... lol

sunday nite my asthma attack came back...
still chest stuffy on monday morning after i had my inhaler, so went back to polyclinic and get prednisolone (to relief swelling), waited freaking 3 hrs to see the doc... and when i went in, gt chided by doc, he said i shld inform the staff i've got asthma when i was in registration, so i dun have to wait 3 hrs to see doc, asthma patients have piority... wtf...
lesson learned, dr jonathan... thanks...
anyway my lungs are very clear.. i just dun understand why i kept having stuffy chest... if i have stuffy chest, it means my airway is swollen, swollen doesn't affect lungs??? hmm.. really dun knw man... haiz...

met hua in tampines for brunch...

popeye in century square lvl 5... me & hua felt T3 one nicer... and they change the jam... wtf

watched my sister's keeper at GV, hua's colleage lend her the GV card, so we only paid $7.50 for the movie =)

actually wanted to watch 500 days, thn when i search tampines timing, no sign of this show and thn saw this show, wanted to watch this show as reviews i saw is fantastic, text hua and she also felt like watching this show, haa, excellent... =)

start to teared whn it was like 20 mins to the show... well.. the front narration had kind of moved me too...

whole movie i was like teared, stop, teared, stop... mayb like 4 to 5 times??? haha... the guy in front of me cried too lor, ah hua heard also... lol

anyway when i was out of the theater, my eyes is red de lor... walau...

nice movie...

the muffin story yest is so damn farny...
we went tpy lor 1 for fried hokkien mee, then went to see any snacks to buy, thn there was this shop that sells muffin... seems nice coz dasmond koh came before...
quite a few customers so instead of saying 1 by 1 got what flavour, he ask us to crowd nearer thn he open the oven & tell us what flavour is ready soon, he open & then talk so fast till i only manage to catch 1 flavour nia... lol...
thn he finish liao, ask us to write the flavour on the box...
it's funny to stay there watch the whole thing going on...
thn when it's our turn, he pack the muffins and then turn to lily & said 有好料给你们, thn he stuff something green inside the box...
we all tot is maybe namecard or something...
thn when i got in the car, i went to open the 好料 and i LOL

today's body check up was quite fast...
not so scary as i thought to be... lol
well basically 3 tube of blood was being drained out... of coz nt full tube la..
an x-ray, stool & urine collection, ECG for the heart and some touching done (check on breast) etc... lucky me, the doc is a lady... phew...
i'm glad my heart is fine =)
the urine collection was the most headache...
all the other check up done and i still don't have any urgency to go toilet, coz since last night i have not been drinking too much water, coz i hate to go toilet in the middle of the nite, and morning wake up also no fluid taken... haiz.. so it's a torture man... i have to go buy mineral water (well, the clinic do provide hot drinks coz thy gt this mini vending machine for kopi & teh) bt i only wana drink plain water...
so i had everything done except the urine part thn i walk out of the clinic, and went to shop, went to buy a pant from this fashion... it been ages since i have bought something from TF, the trend look so chena now... lol
bt hey the 3/4 pant i tried on is so comfy... so i rem my aunt pauline had the membership card and i called her for help and told her uncle is in town now also...
the pant cost 35, member discount 10% and this month is my aunt's birthday so another further 10% discount... haha.. so it turn out to be only $28 =) lucky me...
so after all the shopping & walking around, i finally went back to clinic to give them my urine bottle =
just received a call from mic, uncle is looking for me, ask me to return call now... -_-"
call retruned and he said we could meet up for dinner maybe over the weekend, provided if he do not have other travel thingy going on with his german friend who will be in town tmr or the day after... haiz.. sian.. as much as i love family gatherings, i hate being the organiser...
